Go Sail Flathead Lake offers three types of sailboats for bareboat charters, ASA courses, and tours of Flathead Lake. Each sailboat serves a different purpose and offers different benefits. Learn more about the sailboats we teach on, race, and charter on Flathead Lake!
Salish and Kootenai: Our Catalina Capri 22 Sailboats
Salish and Kootenai are our two go-to boats for Flathead Lake tours, ASA 101 classes, and sailboat rentals! These Catalina Capri 22 sailboats are incredibly responsive day sail boats, comfortable for up to five adults onboard.
Our Capris feature tiller steering and 6 horse power outboard motors. The main sail on each sailboat has a boom kicker and one reef point. The roller furling jib is accessible from the cockpit.
Captain Jon Barlow suggested the names for these two boats to pay homage to the area’s Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes of the Flathead Reservation.

Keewadin: Our Pearson 33 Sailboat
Keewadin is our P33 modern cruiser and racing boat that we use for ASA 103 and 104 sailing lessons on Flathead Lake. Compared to most 33 foot boats, Keewadin has a more pleasing shearline than most and features a lower freeboard with a longer overhang.
This Pearson 33 sailboat features wheel steering, an inboard diesel engine, a two reef main, and a roller furling jib.

Kismet: Our J/24 Sailboat
Kismet is the ideal boat for sailboat racing and ASA 102 courses! We frequently take Kismet out for Saturday sailboat races on Flathead Lake and regattas.
This sailboat is well-mannered under sail, making it a great boat to learn how to sailboat race on. Kismet features a hank on jib, genoa 160, four horse power outboard, and tiller steering. The main sail has no reef point.
