Learn to skipper a sloop-rigged auxiliary powered 33′ keelboat by day in moderate winds and sea conditions. Learn cruising sailboat terminology, basic boat systems, auxiliary engine operation, docking procedures, intermediate sail trim, navigation rules, basic coastal navigation, anchoring, weather, safety and seamanship.

Learn how to sail a sloop-rigged, auxiliary powered 30′-45′ sailboat during a multi-day cruise upon inland/coastal waters in moderate/heavy winds and sea conditions. Learn about provisioning, boat systems, auxiliary engines, advanced sail trim, coastal navigation, anchoring / mooring, docking, emergency operations, weather, and more.

Day 1/2 – ASA 101, Keelboat Sailing 1

Day 3/4 – ASA 103, Coastal Cruising

Earn the ASA certification to confidently sail anywhere.

Private boat with a Captain, max 5 people. This is an action-packed day to explore Flathead Lake and Wild Horse Island on a 25ft sailboat, with SUP’s and kayaks!

Private 3 hour tour on a Capri 22 sailboat with a Captain, max 5 people or less than 900 LBS. A scenic sailing cruise is a glorious way to see the lake, learn about sailing, or just kick back and take in the view. It’s your choice!

Private boat with a Instructor, max 4 people. Dare, Dream & Discover Sailing, knot tying, wind, and sailor lingo. Learn basic sailing and see Flathead Lake. Get your crew and 1-4 people to split the costs.

It’s easy to stand up and balance on the Drift 11’6″ paddle board! At 11’6″ x 33″ x 6″, the wide deck and performance shape make for fast, fun paddling for all skill levels.

Flathead Lake Sailing Memberships are good for 1 year. Get on the water as often as you like!​ Unlimited access to Capri 22 sailboats from Memorial Day to Sep 15th.

These kayaks are very stable for beginning paddlers. They are great for enjoying the sun and paddling around the edges of the lake.
