The International Women’s Day website calls on everyone to “make a difference, think globally and act locally” on International Women’s Day. A great way to do that is by supporting your local, women-owned businesses.

Did you know Whitefish has a higher percentage of Women Owned Businesses than anywhere else in the state? There are plenty of women-owned businesses throughout the Flathead that you can support on International Women’s Day.  For example, if you are looking for something to do with friends on International Women’s Day, consider grabbing a beer at Sacred Waters Brewing in Kalispell! Building A Strong Network of Women in the Flathead Valley on International Women’s Day

You can start your own empowering women’s group or join one that already exists!
