We recommend paddling within an area 2-5 miles from the dock. Book a full day if you plan to go to Wild Horse Island for the day. You must file a float plan with check in and check out at the end of the paddle. The bay between the Dayton shoreline and Wild Horse Island, and Big Arm Bay is usually windy and very consistent. Check your weather forecasts and we will cancel trips based on weather unsafe for paddling. We recommend landing at Skeeko bay or Cedar Island. Cromwell Island is of limits private island. There are no public docks on any of the islands.
Phone and waterproof bag. Water and snacks.
You must be able to launch, paddle, sit or stand, swim and physically fit to operate the equipment safety. We will ensure your equipment is in working order, you have a properly fitted life jacket and paddle.
Off season dates are not included, which is typically September 15th through June 15th.
